She's a Tremendous Joy for Me
Ana, a native of Argentina, heard about One by One through Harvest Church in Memphis. She and her husband are active in the Hispanic ministry at Harvest, and she was excited to learn about One by One’s ministry to Hispanic moms.
One by One matched Ana with Veronica, and they bonded quickly. Veronica’s mom invited Ana to attend Veronica’s baby shower, and they all had a wonderful time. Ana says, “I’ve been walking with Veronica a lot lately. Friends of mine have given her needed items for the baby, and she’s received some donations to help furnish her house. I’ve been able to see her more often than usual, and that’s a tremendous joy for me!”
Ana was also able to accompany Veronica on one of her last doctor’s appointments and to join her at the hospital while waiting for her baby to be born. “It was such a great honor that she asked me to be in the delivery room with her! In the hospital waiting room we were praying and trusting in the Lord that Veronica and her baby are in His mighty hands.”
Veronica delivered a beautiful baby boy, and mom and baby are doing well! Ana is looking forward to continuing to meet with Veronica and to get to know her sweet baby.
