Overcoming Obstacles

Angela came to One by One when she found out she was pregnant. She was facing several obstacles, including a lack of stable housing and complications that come with trying to hold multiple jobs. Her mentor Shari says Angela has worked so hard and has made tremendous progress as a mom and in her personal life. She has reliable childcare assistance from family making it easier for her to hold down two jobs. And she now has her own apartment! Shari adds that Angela is now going to school to be a police officer. The two recently completed our Year 2 program and have begun our discipleship program. Shari adds, “I went over the gospel with her, and she said she has already accepted Christ as her Savior.” We’re thankful for Angela’s and Shari’s relationship and excited to see what the future has in store for Angela!
