Agape Love

“It was the Agape love. It was awesome and real.” That’s what a mom said about the love a One by One mentor showed her daughter.

Erica’s daughter Erin heard about One by One when she got pregnant with her first child and asked her mom what she thought about the program. Erica’s response upon hearing our program is biblically based: “Go for it!”

Erica says, “Being a mom, I want to be able to always answer any questions she has and to get it right – especially for my first daughter and my granddaughter. The way her mentor has been able to fill the gap for my daughter – especially as a first time mom – has been just wonderful.”

One by One matched Erin with Beth, a mentor who has served several new moms.  Erica says, “Beth’s support has been invaluable. She’s had a big impact on Erin. In fact, Erin is having a hard time getting used to the idea that it’s almost time to let Beth go (when they complete the program). I told Erin that Beth has to help someone else now – she can’t keep her forever!”

Erica says, “I never would have thought Erin would have this kind of experience with anyone outside the family. I had no idea of the kind of help she could get – which also helped me and her other siblings. Beth’s support has been unwavering. She has been there for everything. It was real love.”

One by One would like to thank Erica for personally purchasing a load of diapers and other supplies to donate to our moms in honor of Beth’s support of Erin. We are so appreciative of her desire to give back!
